WANNA WRESTLE? – WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment, announced the resignation of Linda McMahon Wednesday.

The former WWE co-founder and chief executive, not to mention wife of WWE Chairman and co-founder Vince McMahon, formally announced she will run as a Republican for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Chris Dodd of Connecticut.

Other Republican contenders for the seat include Connecticut State Senator Sam Caligiuri, former U.S. Ambassador Tom Foley and former Representative Rob Simmons. During her announcement, Linda stated that Dodd has “lost his way and our trust.” Those sound like fightin’ words.
